Zet een plek op de kaart
Mist de kaart een standbeeld, een brug of een park waar je naartoe zou lopen, speelt je club op een vast adres, of staat er een schaaktafel in jouw park? Stuur hem in. Een mens kijkt ernaar, en daarna is het een monument waar iedereen in de stad naartoe kan lopen.
Wat je kunt insturen
- Een standbeeld, brug, park, uitzichtpunt of ander monument dat de kaart heeft gemist. Alleen plekken in Nederland, voorlopig.
- Een openbaar schaakbord of een schaaktafel buiten.
- Een schaakclub met een vast speeladres. Die krijgt gratis een eigen monument, en het is in het spel nooit meer waard dan de brug verderop.
Hoe het gaat
- Vul het formulier in: wat het is, hoe het heet, waar het staat.
- Je krijgt een mail met een link. Pas als je daarop drukt staat de inzending in de wachtrij.
- We mikken op een week om hem te beoordelen en een week om hem op de kaart te zetten. Elke inzending staat hieronder, zonder jouw naam.
Liever mailen?
Stuur de naam, het adres en voor een club een link naar de eigen site naar locations@chessmeoutside.com. We controleren het en mailen terug als er iets ontbreekt.
Wat er in de wachtrij staat
Elke aanmelding komt hier te staan, met de datum waarop we hem af willen hebben. Halen we die niet, dan staat dat er ook.

Put a place on the map
Is the map missing a statue, a bridge or a park worth walking to, does your club play at a fixed venue, or is there a chess table in your park? Send it in. A person checks it, and then it is a monument every player in town can walk to.
What you can send in
- A statue, bridge, park, viewpoint or other monument the map missed. Places in the Netherlands only, for now.
- A public chess board or an outdoor chess table.
- A chess club with a fixed venue. It gets a monument of its own, free, and never worth more in the game than the bridge down the road.
How it goes
- Fill in the form: what it is, what it is called, where it stands.
- You get an email with a link. The submission joins the queue when you press it.
- We aim for a week to review it and a week to put it on the map. Every submission is listed below, without your name.
Rather mail?
Send the name, the address and, for a club, a link to its own site to locations@chessmeoutside.com. We check it and mail back if anything is missing.
